Trash the Dress
A few weeks ago I took a bride to Twin Falls in Greenville South Carlina for a bridal portrait session, and the shoot evolved into somewhat of a trash the dress shoot. The session was after the wedding, so the bride was very open to my ideas. After I had her permission, I placed her in the water at the base of the falls and never looked back. The shoot ended up being more then I could have hoped for. A beautiful bride, at a beautiful waterfall, on a gorgeous day, I couldn’t have asked for more. You can see the shoot in it’s entirety at SmugMug gallery page.
Come and Get Some!
I had the pleasure of photographing the sons of a great friend of mine just recently, and we had a blast during the process. Photographing children can be trying at times, but usually is very rewarding in the end. So here is a shot of Carter and Ethan in HDR, that I shot during the session.
McKenzie and the Vintage RC Cola Machine.
I was out photographing McKenzie for her modeling portfolio and we ran across this vintage RC Cola machine that I just had to photograph. The old machine was sitting in front of an old service station in Pickens County South Carolina. The station was still open for business, although it didn’t seem to sell gasoline any longer. But the lady behind the counter inside was very accommodating when I asked her if I could photograph McKenzie with the RC machine, although she did look at me a little funny, as if I were crazy. Then a few minutes later, as we were in the middle of shooting, the lady came outside with an actual glass bottle of RC Cola and said, “If you’re going to do something, do it right!” So, this is one of the images from the shoot, that we decided to have a little fun with.
Holiday Portraits
Carter and his killer laugh, made for a great portrait session. He is such an animated young man and was having a great time in front of my camera. I’m giving free portrait sessions through the month of Nov. for the holiday season. You can contact me at 864-640-5668, or e-mail me at lance@freelanceimagery.com to make an appointment.

Dave and Priscilla
I love photographing small and intimate weddings, like the one that Dave and Priscilla had. It’s usually a much more pleasant experience then photographing the craziness of much larger weddings. The smaller production tends to have more love and less worry involved on all that are included in the event.
